New York City is a place of inspiration and wonder. Its captivating energy draws people from all around the world to its magic. With historical monuments, iconic restaurants, Broadway entertainment, and world-renown retailers on every block, how do you choose the perfect wedding venue? The options are endless, but you’re looking for The One – the venue that feels meant-to-be for your wedding day.

To help you in your search, I’ve compiled a list of the BEST NYC wedding venues based on my years of experience as a NYC wedding photographer. These venues are not only beautiful, but they also demonstrate exceptional service and the most luxurious accommodations in all of NYC. In addition, they have received the highest accolades from couples I’ve worked with previously. I wanted to provide a wide variety of styles, so these are in no particular order – they are all truly outstanding.

13 Best New York City Wedding Venues

1. The Rainbow Room – The shining gem of the Rockefeller Center continues to win NYC hospitality awards year after year since its opening 80 years ago! The room is known for the dazzling chandelier suspended above the large dancefloor, and floor-to-ceiling windows that show off the cityscape – the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening. It goes without saying that their service is second-to-none.

2. 620 Loft & Garden – This is an extension of the Rainbow Room, but I wanted to highlight it separately because they have two distinct vibes. While the Rainbow Room is traditional, elegant, and iconic, 620 Loft & Garden features a more laid-back vibe and al fresco option. You still receive the same exclusive service, but this outdoor space feels more open. The rooftop garden boasts gorgeous greenery and flowers, plus a full 360-degree view of the city. It’s truly stunning!

3. NY Public Library – History meets timeless elegance at the New York Public Library. And no, you don’t have to exchange vows between aisles of books. This venue reminds me of the mesmerizing library ballroom in The Beauty and the Beast: Imagine a tall dome of windows arching over a large dancefloor while the bride and groom walk hand-in-hand down a staircase lit with shimmering tea lights. It’s like something from a dream.
