Every bride wants to feel beautiful on her wedding day, and finding the perfect wedding dress is one way to make that dream come true. But it’s not just about the dress. It’s about the way you feel in the dress. When you find a dress that makes you feel glamorous and confident, you look gorgeous and confident! Steal the show with one of these modern cheongsam styles for 2021.

1. Fishtail Cheongsam

Fishtail cheongsams are very flattering. They’re fitted throughout the bust and body and then fan out from the knees. More rigid material will create a kind of ballgown look, where as a lace material will look flowy and elegant.

2. Keyhole Cheongsam

This is a classic look with a modern twist. Some keyhole cheongsams have a wide collar keyhole in the front, and others have a smaller one with a clasp. Alternatively, dresses with keyhole backs look gorgeous with pinned up hairstyles.

3. Inverted Colors

Most traditional cheongsams are red with gold accents. Flip the script and change it up with a gold or ivory dress with red accents.

4. Lace Top and Sheer Skirt

Long or short, this style is both timeless and beautiful. The layered skirt allows for extra movement and looks so pretty in photos. Plus, it’s as comfortable as it is stunning. All eyes will be on you in this lovely lace cheongsam, and it’s versatile for different body types.

5. One Shoulder Cheongsam

Look extra glamorous in a one-shoulder mermaid cheongsam like this one. I especially love the ruffled floral accent on the strap. This is a lovely style for spring and summer weddings.

6. Mandarin Collar

Show off your pretty face with an accentuating high-neck dress. This style looks extra elegant with intricate accents and a side slit paired with heels.

7. Trendy Colors

If you already have a lot of red in your wedding or want something different, these trendy cheongsams still nod to traditional style but with a color twist. Check out these blueemeraldburgundy, and violet cheongsams. Or, you could stick with the red and add in colorful accents instead – I’m in love with this classic yet colorful dress by East Meets Dress.
